About
I received my Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Walden University. I have been in the mental health field for 6 years working with troubled youth, soldiers of the Iowa Army National Guard, and a community based non-profit agency. I have experience working with trauma, grief, depression, anxiety, those experiencing co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders, financial stress, and criminally involved and court-mandated clients. I do both individual and couples counseling. I bring authenticity to the counseling space, focusing on each client’s autonomy and individuality. I believe there is no ‘one-size-fits-all’ approach to therapy.
